Revelation 12:7 (NKJ)
And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon: and the dragon and his angels fought.
We often think – “If only I had this house, I would be happy.” or “If only I had this amount of money, I would be happy.” or “If X would be in my life, I would be happy.”
Satan, also known as Lucifer, was an angel in heaven. Yet he wasn’t happy. He led a third of the angels in rebellion and war broke out in heaven.
Revelation 12:8 (NKJ)
but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
Their rebellion led to them being cast out of heaven, they lost their place as angels and subsequently became the devil and his demons. That’s what happens to fallen angels.
You and I have an eternal destiny with Christ.
Let’s remember that and not trade it for anything in the world.
Nothing else can compare when we finally assume our place in His Kingdom. The devil on the other hand, will try to persuade us with the age old lie, that he can offer something better to us, than what God offers.
After all, that’s what he told Eve, regarding the forbidden fruit. He offered her a lie, and she fell for it, made the trade and plunged an entire world into sin.
Bad trade, in my opinion.
