A Psalm of David. O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill? He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart; who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend; in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honors those who fear the Lord; who swears to his own hurt and does not change; who does not put out his money at interest and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
I honestly don’t know a person who dares claim that he is innocent of all wrong doings listed above.
So it’s gonna take a miracle for a person to reside on God’s holy hill!
And a miracle did take place …
Jesus Christ- the only Son of God came into our world and took our place in death upon the Cross – humiliated, tortured and punished till dead, NOT for His sins( because He lived a pure blameless life) … But He died because of OUR sins.. That our places might be swapped … so the pure and blameless One dies on the Cross and us sinful humans have our sins cancelled out and allowed to reside in God’s holy hill …
