For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being
The apostle says here that we will be made stronger.
Power through His Spirit will fill our inner being.
What does this filling of the Spirit do?
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
As a result, Christ will be in our hearts.
Like an anchor He will hold us firm and secure in love.
We will have a grasp of the extent of Christ’s love for us and will become content (‘… filled with the fullness of God.’)
Matthew Henry writes in his commentary-
“How powerfully the apostle speaks of the love of Christ! The breadth shows its extent to all nations and ranks; the length, that it continues from everlasting to everlasting; the depth, its saving those who are sunk into the depths of sin and misery; the height, its raising them up to heavenly happiness and glory. ”
The love of God is an amazing love.
It is worth celebrating for an eternity.
