My brothers and sisters, be very happy when you are tested in different ways. You know that such testing of your faith produces endurance. Endure until your testing is over. Then you will be mature and complete, and you won’t need anything.
Trials and sufferings can either make us bitter or better. We can choose to either go through suffering or grow through our suffering.
No pain is ever the same. 2 different families may have lost a child but there are differences in their experience – so no one can ever minimize or belittle another’s pain.
But no one should let pain halt their life. We have to, move on and let the pain draw us closer to God, and make us stronger as a result.
Clay vessels remain brittle and unspectacular. But the fire in the kiln, transforms the clay into something stronger and more beautiful.
I am praying for you, dear friend as you experience loss, disappointment, betrayal, frustration and grief. Don’t waste the pain and suffering you endure right now – instead use it, learn lessons from it and someday when the time is right, use your lessons learnt to help another who is suffering.
